Serre Chevalier is also a summer destination. The skilifts are open to help you get to the top for walking, mountain biking, dining in one of the altitude restaurants, visiting the marmotte observatory... The old town of Briançon is well worth a visit with its narrow streets, gargouilles and fountains... You can take a guided tour to visit the Cordeliers church (15th century), the “Fort des Têtes” fortress (18-19th century) or the Collégiale Notre Dame, Saint Nicolas (18th century). Other activities : swimming, fishing, mountaineering, parapenting, climbing, cycling up the famous passes Lautaret, Galibier, etc....
